Essential Clean

From £20

A considered exterior clean for pairs that are worn regularly and simply need bringing back. We work by hand with material-appropriate solutions and soft brushes, lift surface dirt from the upper, tidy the midsole and finish the outsole edge.

Deep Clean

From £35

Our most requested service. Everything in the Essential Clean, taken further: laces removed and washed separately, midsoles worked in stages, outsoles scrubbed, and the accessible interior cleaned. Suitable where dirt has had time to settle in.

Specialist Care

For pairs where the material decides the method. Suede and nubuck are treated dry-first with dedicated tools, delicate finishes are tested in a discreet area, and difficult stains are approached gradually. We will tell you honestly what we expect to achieve before we start.

Restoration

Reserved for pairs that need more than cleaning. Every restoration is quoted on its own terms after we have seen the shoes, because condition, construction and age all change what is sensible. We will always say when we think a pair is better left as it is.

Past Soles uses selected specialist products and tools from established sneaker-care companies, combined with soft, medium and sole brushes, suede tools, microfibre cloths and protective treatments. The material decides the method. No single product is suitable for every shoe.

What we can do, what we cannot, and how pricing is decided.

Ask us directly

No. Some staining, colour loss, cracking, oxidation and material damage is permanent. We will tell you what we expect to improve and what we expect to remain before you commit to anything.

Sneaker care carries inherent risk. We assess each pair individually and will decline work we do not believe is in the shoe’s interest. Cleaning cannot reverse structural damage, sole separation, deep cracking, permanent discolouration or normal ageing.
